Bea McManus

Program Leader

Bea discovered her passion for working with people with disabilities at New Trier High School as a student and friend of disabled students, and solidified this passion working as a Teacher Assistant with TrueNorth Educational Cooperative at the Joseph Sears School. As a native of Kenilworth, she is happy to be working in this community back near her hometown. She has a Bachelor's in Music from Lawrence University with a self-designed degree in Music Within Social Advocacy, graduating in 2021. She is eager to continue her work in this field by promoting independence and community building with the Our Place participants, especially through music and the arts. Outside of work, Bea loves spending time with friends and family, singing, crafting, and reading.
