Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for basic preventive building maintenance, including commercial/household repairs, light plumbing, light electrical work, HVAC, appliance repair, and light carpentry tasks. This position will also involve pick-up/delivery of supplies and property, custodial duties, event set-up, and participation in special projects. The FMT will work under the supervision of Facilities Coordinator and assist as needed in various maintenance tasks such as renovation, concrete work, wall repair, painting, landscaping, snow removal, and more.

Our Place is seeking instructors to lead small groups of teens and young adults with disabilities at our Wilmette location and in the community.
